Lin
Kan Yue
Project & Creative Director
Departing wisdom
from the lecturers at Temasek Design School spurred
Lin Kan Yue to pursue more enriching and well-rounded life experiences beyond his Diploma in
Product & Industrial Design so as to continuously
improve himself as a designer. This constant
yearning for taking the less travelled path landed
Kan Yue a 3-year overseas employment straight after
his National Services.
Having
spent time in countries like Malaysia, Thailand,
Japan and even
Sudan, Kan Yue experienced the local culture
firsthand, and at times, even learned the local
tongue. Through these encounters, Kan Yue
realized the value of good communication skills,
which in turn made him more appreciative of his
multilingual background. Now he is more determined
to hone his lingual capabilities and put them to
good use.
